The Restoration Process Rust Removal Part One As in any car driven in the upper Midwest made before 1995, rust is an extreme problem. I tried to find a Yugo close as possible to me with as little as possible rust buildup on the body. This was the best I could find. On this day, we sanded most of the rust off the vehicle, more specifically on the left and right sides.
Rust Removal Part Two This process included cleaning up the body panels and making it look as close to new as possible. Some finishing touches to the fenders were applied.
